REGISTER NOW!

Join us for the re-launch event of the National Cyber Security Index (NCSI). The event will offer a chance to hear directly from cybersecurity experts from different institutions and countries about NCSI 3.0 - the most comprehensive tool to measure countries’ cyber resilience and develop the necessary capacities. The NCSI 3.0 includes new and updated indicators, and presents revised scores and weights.

We have gathered a pool of cybersecurity practicioners into two panels to evaluate which indicators make a difference and how countries have benefitted from the NCSI so far.

Update to the NCSI 3.0 Methodology

The e-Governance Academy (eGA) reviews the NCSI indicators and criteria (i.e. the methodology) periodically to ensure they remain relevant to current global good practices. This latest process has resulted in the NCSI 3.0 methodology, which includes new indicators, merges some of them, and presents revised scores and weights. For more information on the NCSI 3.0 methodology, please consult the following PDF.

It is our intention to notify you that until the end of 2023, we will be working to implement the NCSI 3.0 methodology in our website. We will be working so that the overall look and feel of the NCSI website will not vary a lot from its current form.

Regarding the country pages and their corresponding data, we are endeavouring to freeze and keep all those pages, with their information, for historical purposes. Overall, the NCSI will remain the same live index and database, albeit with updated indicators.

Should you have any questions or comments regarding the NCSI 3.0 methodology,or the updating process, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
