Chile and Ireland climb in the ranking

With the help of national experts, two countries have significantly improved their ranking in the National Cyber Security Index.

Chile is now ranked 33rd, and third in the Americas region, with perfect scores for their capacities of cyber security policy development and fight against cybercrime, and good results in the capacities of e-identification and trust services, education and professional development, military cyber operations, and cyber incidents response. The data for Chile was provided by Mr Carlos Landeros from the Ministry of Interior and Public Security of Chile.

Ireland is ranked 25th after an update provided by the National Cyber Security Centre. Ireland achieved the perfect score for their capacities of personal data protection and cyber incidents response, together with high scores in the fields of e-identification and trust services, protection of essential services, protection of digital services, education and professional development, and fight against cybercrime.
